The ‘I AM’ Discourses

The foundational text of the I AM Activity spiritual movement, these discourses were reportedly received by Guy Ballard (Godfre Ray King) from the Ascended Master Saint Germain in the 1930s. At their core is the teaching that within every human being dwells the mighty I AM Presence — the individualised flame of God's own consciousness — whose power, when consciously invoked, can heal, protect, supply, and ultimately liberate the soul from all limitation. The discourses present not merely a philosophy but a practical technology of invocation, commanding students to call forth this inner divine power with authority and certainty.

The I AM teachings were among the first to introduce the concept of decrees — spoken affirmations delivered with the force and authority of divine identity rather than supplication — into Western spirituality. The texts radiate an atmosphere of tremendous cosmic drama: humanity at a crossroads, Ascended Masters working behind the scenes to assist the planet's evolution, and individual students invited to become conscious co-workers in this planetary endeavour.
